Daiyoshi, a family owned izakaya in Shinsekai (just south of Nipponbashi, the famous electronics district), has been pleasing customer after customer for the past 80 years.  It is an unusually spacious restaurant, making it quite popular amongst families with small children. The restaurant has both western and Japanese style seating (with dugout floor).  Daiyoshi’s menu includes sushi, tempura, kushikatsu, blowfish and home-style sukiyaki.  Several ‘set meal’ options simplify ordering and vegetarian dishes are available.  Daiyoshi also has a private karaoke room (reservation required) where you can eat, drink and sing your favorite tunes.
